I've made it to Maria after dying like a billion times (always in either 1 or 2 hits from even casual enemies) and I was excited to jump straight into the second DLC, but I can't freaking beat her. All the Youtube tutorials I watch are just over-leveled people fighting her, so it doesn't apply to me. I'm Lvl 120 and it feels like being Lvl 1 would make no difference. It's stupid.
